Overview

UB Institute needed a website that matched the credibility of the coaching they actually deliver — prospective students were judging the institute's quality by its (outdated) web presence before ever visiting in person.

The Challenge

The brief was broad — "make us look professional" — with no existing design system, brand guidelines, or content ready to go. I had to define the structure as much as the visuals.

Approach

  • Ran a short discovery conversation with the client to define their core offerings, target audience and tone.
  • Sketched a sitemap covering courses, admissions, and contact — the three things prospective students actually look for.
  • Built a component-based CSS system so the client's team could reuse styled sections consistently as content grew.
  • Optimised images and layout for fast loading on the mobile connections most prospective students actually use.

The Solution

A clean, trustworthy institutional website with clear course information, an admissions pathway, and consistent branding throughout — built entirely from scratch to the client's specification.

Outcome

The institute now has a professional, credible front door that matches the quality of their in-person teaching, live at their own domain.
